This website

makakoo.com is documentation and a download point for the Makakoo OS project. The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Installation scripts

The scripts at /install, /install.sh, and /install.ps1 are the same scripts published in the makakoo-os repository. You are free (and encouraged) to inspect them before piping to a shell. Running shell scripts from the internet is your responsibility; we make no guarantees about the state of your machine after installation.

Trademark

"Makakoo" and "Makakoo OS" identify this project. The MIT License covers the source code; it does not grant you rights to use the project name, logo, or marks in a way that suggests endorsement of derivative or unrelated work. Forks and derivatives must use a distinct name.

Contributions

Contributions to the makakoo-os repository are accepted under the terms in CONTRIBUTING.md and are licensed under the MIT License unless explicitly marked otherwise.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the project, its maintainers, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software or this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the user's country of residence.
